We extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to one of the newest families to join our community.

Over the past few months, they have endured an incredibly difficult chapter. Between December 2025 and February 2026, devastating floods in Julia Creek claimed more than 500 head of their cattle — a loss that is hard to put into words.

What makes their story even more heartbreaking is that this is not the first time they’ve faced such hardship. After working tirelessly to rebuild from the floods of 2019, they now find themselves starting over once again.

Their resilience, strength, and determination in the face of repeated adversity are nothing short of remarkable. We are honoured to stand beside them as they begin the long road to recovery, and we are proud to welcome them into our charity family.
